Our mission at Bamboo House is to bring you fresh Chinese food with no MSG, less salt, no artificial flavor, no canned foods and no preservatives. We use fresh ingredients carefully selected and prepared each day for our dishes.
CULTURE OF SICHUAN FOODS
Sichuan food or Szechuan cuisine is one of the popular Chines cuisines which originated from Sichuan, the province located within Southwestern China. The Sichuan food is known for the bold flavors. It has a pungent and spicy taste with the inclusion of garlic and chili peppers. The unique flavor of Sichuan foods is achieved due to the addition of Sichuan chilies. The Sichuan cuisine is not only linked with this taste but it has different variations which are created by the local people in the province.

The chefs at Bamboo House are aimed at providing you with the flavorful taste of the Sichuan cuisine. Chef William Chu at Bamboo house uses the combination of 24 compound flavors termed as Fu he Wei in order to prepare the flavorful Sichuan cuisine. The seven flavors in this combination are spicy while seventeen other flavors are non-spicy and give a mild taste. The most common ingredient i.e. jiaoyanweixing is a combination of roasted Sichuan pepper and salt. This combination is mostly used in all the Sichuan cuisine by our chefs.

Chef William Chu who has a great experience of cooking Chinese cuisine since 30 years serves highly elegant food at Bamboo house with a unique taste. There are many Sichuan dishes that you must savor once you visit our restaurant. Few famous dishes include:
Pockmarked Granny Bean Curd- it is a bean curd served with chili and bean sauce. It is topped over pork, beef or minced meat.
Kung Pao Chicken- the diced chicken is prepared with peanuts and dry red pepper.

At Bamboo House, you can enjoy your meal with a variety of options from the bar list. We have beer bottles, domestic and international ones. We offer beer drafts and refreshing cocktails to lighten your mood giving you a revitalizing feel. We have 9 different types of wine at our bar. You can also have soft drinks along with the fresh juices. We offer coconut juice, orange juice, apple juice, pineapple juice, plum juice and hot refreshments such as green tea.
DESSERTS AT THE BAMBOO HOUSE
Crepes at Bamboo House have a tantalizing taste to savor you after finishing the Sichuan foods. Sweet crepes are thin pancakes which are prepared with wheat flour. After preparation, these crepes are filled with sweet fillings like fresh fruits, jam, sugar and lemon juice, ice cream, poached fruits, Nutella or bananas. It is then topped with whipped cream or sweet syrups.
